If you have forgotten the password - or feel you have good cause to enter the page: Text your reasons to 07799 383295. 5) Notes of Annual General Meeting held on 14 June 2011 See Special Information Section. 6) Games not yet re-arranged None as at 14 March 7) League Arrangements Each team has played all the others (13) once, the league is now split into 2 divisions of 7 teams each. The teams in each Division will play each other once more (6 games) to decide the Division 1 and Division 2 Champions. 8) Cup Arrangements There are 14 teams in the competition. There was a preliminary round of 6 games which reduced the number to 8 teams. These teams will play one round (Round 1), then semi finals and a final. All teams knocked out in the preliminary round and Round 1 are automatically be entered into the RACE Cup. All rounds will consist of one game only, played to a finish which means that the game should produce a winner. So if there is a draw at full time then 30 minutes extra time should be played and if there is still a draw then penalties should be played (5 each then "instant death") until a winner is decided. 9) The League Cup The teams have been divided into three setions. Section A Baclay, Blackh, Lepra, Port S (4) Section B Chapel, Gorgie, MorUtd, Niddri, PsanGs (5) Section C Broxbn, Elim, Ladywell, Loaned, Whales (5) The teams will play all the other teams in their section once. The winner of each section and the best runner up (the secretary's decision is final) will play off semi finals and a final. 10) Elim Rocks Football Club resigned from the Association on 28 March 2012. Our rules (Rule 21) say "In the event of a club defaulting in the course of any season without having fulfilled all of its fixtures then all league matches in which the defaulting club participated in the course of the season will be declared null and void." The current circumstances make applying the rule for the League competition very complex and probably unfair. (It could even affect which clubs are in Division 1 and 2.) Elim had only one game (v Lepra) to play. So Lepra were awarded that fixture 3.0. This solution caused as little disruption as possible at a critical time in the season. League Cup They had one result recorded in the League Cup (v Ladywell) which was a fixture awarded due to the debt suspension of Elim. This was made void and this Section then had 4 teams each playing 3 games. |
